Fulltime Job vs Working on Startup as New Grad

Currently in a tough dilemma and not sure what to do. I just graduated college and am set to start my fulltime job in September making around $400K. However, Ive also been working on a startup as part of YC this summer. As the summer is nearing an end, I am having trouble deciding what to do. My parents suggest me to work my real job and continue to work on the startup simultaneously as a way to hedge risk and remain employable during the recession. However, I am way more passionate about this startup than the job I am set to start and would rather go all in. I just want to know if Im being stupid by giving up my job and the amount of money to pursue something that statistically will most likely fail. Is it possible to do both at the same time? Was wondering if people have insights
