Making a software developing firm a partner in the startup.

I am flirting with the idea to contact a software developing firm for my SaaS company. Make the 'owner' of the firm a partner/director with a some percentage of equity so that I can focus on scaling. (Giving the equity to the CTO/firm purely in case of going to the clients directly than investors.)
If I am beginning with a team onboard even if the idea leaks, gets copied I would still be ahead of the market.
∆ I got the plan ready. From A to Z. Only missing letters are C, T and O.
