Concerns of a startup newbie...

For context, I met my current co-founder (we are both developers) via a slack group for people in technology and both live in different countries.
We decided to create an on-demand service but the co-founder insisted on purchasing a domain name before building anything further. Since this is my first attempt at a startup, I am concerned about whether to split the cost and add this to a founder's agreement.
Some of my concerns are as follows:
- We brainstormed and finally settled on an idea they suggested so would this be an issue in the long term?
- Would their purchasing the domain name be an issue when it comes to ownership of the project? Should I split the costs with them?
- What should an initial agreement include?
- Should we build the MVP in no-code or should we just build it? They also suggested that I focus on sales and marketing instead of developing the site (I have designed it already and suggested splitting so I take front-end and they take back-end)
Any expert advice is appreciated. Thank you.
