This started when I did a design for someone a good friend.I did the work agreed on payment and I did my part.Cut to now I haven’t been able to get ahold of them until no through email.Ive had deaths in the family and other stuff but I held my end of the bargain.This friend finally responds with this him acting like I’m unconvincing him.Add to that my phone was destroyed to where I couldn’t even get my cash app info...so he says it’s my fault too...he’s losing money because of me...By then I said I’m done I did my job,I have everything documented from the printers to fed ex...I said don’t worry about payment and if he wants my services in the future go through my Fiverr and my paypal business account..My biggest thing was him thinking I’d give him a free logo design...I quoted my prices and he wasn’t hearing that.Now dealing with this I learned contracts and deposits for anyone and everyone.I know my work is great and I will not be low balled and I neither should you.i even offered to refer him to someone else and the quotes he got were way more than what I was gonna charge.Ive also added a kill clause if you aren’t responding or being an ass like he was I terminate the services and keep my deposit.
