Confusion arising from similar names

I am working for an insurance branch. Our brand name is semi-unique and is an English word, which basically means that there are 2-3 other businesses in the same town with the same name. (They do of course have a different addendum- but this is still confusing for applicants and customers)

I'm wondering what I can do for my company to help them, without changing our business's name?
