Is this a viable business idea?

I want to start an event planning business where I can help people socialize and network in a casual setting through creating pop up events that are like "speed dating" or other engaging group type activities. I want these events to be similar to those events you would see in university/college where the event were opportunities for people to meet others, either for friends or romance. And couples could come to these events too (maybe not the speed dating) but it could be like a paint nite thing or whatnot.
