Is it possible to launch a web startup using a drag and drop service to then migrate

Say you want to launch a web based startup, could you make it on wix/godaddy until you have enough funds to pay a developer to build you a fully custom site? Could you then migrate the business, URL, domain name, etc over to your new site? Have any of you done this before?
