I have some decent mycology knowledge and consider it a hobby so I've thought about turning it into a business. Now my major problems here is that I don't have enough funding to start up large scale operation right away and a medium one seems like a risky alternative. So I'd like to start on a hobby level growing in growing tents in my apartment.
Given my opportunities and circumstance I can produce a small amount of mushrooms each week. Now regular common food mushrooms I know who to sell it to but the small quantity is a deal breaker for most customers so I would have to focus on either selling dried mushrooms collected from several harvests or medicinal mushrooms who which the customer wouldnt need the same quantity off.
I'm just looking for ideas of where I can turn to sell my product and if you know any mushroom species particularly medicinal ones that are trendy right now.
