When I say politics I'm talking about: people outright lying in meetings, or "massaging the truth" blocking progress or misleading people.
My boss has told me not to call it out during meetings when they are lying and trying to shift blame onto our department. But these people are trying to throw us under the bus. Why is it OK to lie in a meeting, but calling it out is reconsidered taboo?
I've heard many entrepreneurs also take issue with such politics. Is this true?
