Currently our company is sourcing custom Gua Sha tools from China and we are having recurring issues with quality control.
For every 1000 units that we order, typically ~50% are unusable due to rough edges, too small, scuffed, etc. We understand that making Gua Sha stone tools is difficult but we know it’s possible to get high quality because roughly half of the units are acceptable. By this logic, if the manufacturer produced twice as many units on a given order they would have enough high quality units to satisfy us. Instead they just send us a bunch of garbage.
If we have to pay double the price per unit, that’s okay with us. However, it’s very frustrating to keep getting orders with ~50% unusable that have to be meticulously inspected.
Part of the disconnect is likely the language barrier so we are looking for someone who speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
Does anyone know a reputable inspection company that can help with issues like this?
