In short, I've always been a dream chaser. Most my friends are situated doing the 9-5 and settling down with a partner, going out on the weekend etc. As was I once.
Over the last 6 years or so I've been honing in on my skill and created my own job/business out of it, now self employed, steady, it led me to travel for many years just having fun whilst working from my laptop. Pretty great.
I went back home recently and it's kind of sucked the life out of me a bit. Nothings changed. Just gossip. I feel stagnant. Feel like I'm not pursuing what I should be in life.
A good friend of mine I met through my travels said he could sponsor me to come out to the USA and work with him, he's incredibly successful, multi million dollar company etc. We would be working together bringing my skill to the table of his company.
The titles a bit extreme but I'm seriously considering just upping and leaving everything and not looking back. Anyone ever done something similar? I feel I can't relate to anyone around me so here I am on reddit.
I feel people judge me because I'm not like them and doing the opposite. I guess that's getting to me a bit thinking I'm an outsider but maybe I'm just not doing the normal thing.
