I live in a major city and have a pretty successful business.
At this point, I want to start a start a simple side business for fun. So I’m not really too worried about it making a huge profit or even a major profit at all - as long as it makes a little money. I’m thinking devoting about 10k to this project.
I have an extra office which is empty I can devote to the business. I am not in a “walking” area, though.
Here are my ideas: clothing alterations, print shop, local speedy delivery, virtual assistant…
However, I live in a major metropolis, so almost every type of business has numerous competitors.
So I’m tiring the Reddit brain trust. Say you had 10k, office space, and wanted to start a business and were not too worried about it being too profitable as long as makes a little money. Assume you have employees to cover the work.
Can I solicit some ideas? I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and I just want to see what other third parties may think of as well. And thanks in advance.
