Best options/ideas for tracking income/sales and expenses?

I use Square for my website and taking payments in person so I'm hoping to find a way to make organizing easy and painless come tax time. I don't need all the fancy extras that you typically have to pay for. I JUST want to track when sales are made (income), maybe taxes, and expenses.

Not sure if it matters but I have a handmade home decor business, I've been doing it for 7 years, but took a break for a couple years and now I'm driving back into.
