We have a staff of only 6 people and work in close quarters. Which leads to knowing everyone and their problems pretty well. We have bailed out staff financially cutting our income down 30% or more (we work in medical field and our income has gone down to less than 200K between both of us) as well as worked crazy hours for them when they can’t show up. How do you keep the boundaries? I care about their personal problems however, I can’t afford to continue to bail them out and miss out on my own family life. How do you stay strong? I have to replace them but I know how hard it will be for them and the staff will think I am a monster. Anyone been through this?
