Why is it so hard to validate a problem (you desire to solve)?

After countless hours research I found that there is little to no viable mechanism for validating a problem, the option given in blogs are to:

Go out and speak to people, speaking to potential problem sufferers only really works in specific situations, but would work with Ed tech, Fintech, Health tech and various other sectors.
Find where they reside online, Facebook Groups, Subreddits, Forums and other public discussion sites. With this approach the individual has to have researched every aspect of the problem, form a succinct question and hope there will be a response (with an unlikely possibility have a private follow up about the problem.
